First off, I'm an Amazon junky but I hardly ever review anything. I just had to leave a review for these (yes, I bought two). I also just had to take it apart to verify the ICEpower amp.Basically, this amp will blow any other cheap Chinese amp that you get on Amazon out of the water. The thing is dead quiet. I already have another ICEpower-50ASX2 board that I bought a few years ago on Parts Express. I also have the 100AS2 and the 200ASC x 2. All of them are fantastic. Some of the best Class D on the market. I use them to tri-amp power my three-way main hifi speakers. I also have a 100w stereo ICEpower for my monitor woofers and a 50ASX2 to power the tweeters. I use MiniDSP for an active crossover on all.But here's the thing, I bought the amp boards and built them all myself using amp parts kits from China. The 50ASX2 board itself is MORE expensive than this whole Sabaj amp. Then I had to spend $60-80 on the chassis, connectors, power switch, etc. The Sabaj A5 comes with everything AND a volume control. Plus it looks sweet. The main thing that's going to set this apart from anything else within 2 or 3 times the price is the power supply. The cheap Chinese amps that you see on Amazon (of which I have a few) always use the cheapest, dirtiest (noisiest) power supplies, and most of the PSUs can't even power the amp to the claimed specs. But not only the PSU, from 1watt to 42watts, you're in the hundredths of a percent for THD+N, even dipping down into the thousandths of a percent at typical listening levels. I just can't believe the noise floor and distortion numbers are as good as they are on this amp. I don't know how they're doing it for the price, but please, keep them coming. The power switch feels great and the volume knob is ok, but I might just direct connect the amp to the speaker outs and bypass it altogether, since I'm using a preamp anyway. But this would be great for a desktop amp or a bookshelf amp. Overall, great job on this amp.
