Understanding the D400 Series
Why choose the MK2 over the EX, ES, or PRO?
The D400 ES, EX, and PRO models have been officially discontinued. We analyzed the best components of our previous lineup and engineered the MK2 to be the ultimate successor.
Does it support direct DSD and MQA playback?
Yes. The device utilizes a dedicated DSD direct access function (DSD Bypass). When enabled, the DSD signal is not processed by the internal volume control, delivering a pure, unaltered analog output directly to your amplifier. Full MQA and MQA-CD unfolding is also natively supported.
What are the interface and display features?
It features a fully laminated color IPS display covered by tempered glass for intuitive operation. Connectivity includes USB, Optical, Coaxial, AES/EBU, I2S (HDMI), alongside both Balanced (XLR) and Unbalanced (RCA) line outputs.
